Lynn Valley Care Centre is a privately owned and operated care home that has been in business since 1963. We have been accredited for the past 25 years by Accreditation Canada. Although most of our residents are from the North Shore, we also have seniors from across Canada. Lynn Valley Care Centre has 139 government subsidized beds and 65 private pay rooms and suites. We offer intermediate care, extended (complex care), palliative care, and end-of-life care. We are committed to protecting the rights of the residents we care for. All residents have the right to live with dignity and respect in a safe environment. With the help of the family, we strive to provide the best care possible for the resident. Our “Campus of Care” includes both government-funded and private-care beds, for long and short term residents. As a leader in the field of senior care, we are committed to a resident-focused and family-focused approach to caregiving. We work within a system of Restorative Care to maximize residents’ physical and mental independence.
